The Space Foundation is offering this series of workshops across the U.S., funded by a grant from the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), with the goal of bringing minority business owners into the greater space commerce community.

Technological advancements and scientific discoveries resulting from space exploration have  created profitable business opportunities, and the MBDA is providing funding to help minority business owners operate in space commercialization industries.

The workshop will be held at the Howard University Interdisciplinary Research Building in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, March 5. Featured presenters will be:

  • Diane Dimeff, Principal, Delta Advisors, Former Executive Director, eSpace: The Center for Space Entrepreneurship
  • Kate Lucey, Vice President of Language Science and Communications, H.S. Dracones LLC
  • Kelli Kedis Ogborn, President and CEO, H.S. Dracones LLC
