Written by: developer

Honoring Heroes The Space Foundation is proud to sponsor the Chick-fil-A Patriots’ Festival and Ride for Heroes, to be held at historic Glen Eyrie Castle in Colorado Springs on Saturday, Sept. 10. Combining three bicycle rides with an event that remembers September 11, 2001, and benefits police, firefighter and military charities, the Patriots’ Festival is a Colorado Springs event that honors heroes nationwide.

The bike rides start at 8:00 a.m. and include a one-mile ride for children, a 14-mile ride and the 28-mile Heroes Challenge Ride with 2,200 feet of elevation gain.

Registration fees for the bike rides and other proceeds from the day will benefit Home Front Cares, The Firefighters Fund and The Peace Officers Memorial.

The Festival is free and begins at 10 a.m. at Glen Eyrie. See information about Festival entertainment and parking instructions at www.patriotsfestival.com.
