Congressman Lamborn Visits Space Foundation

One of the first guests to tour the newly completed Space Foundation Visitors Center in Colorado Springs was Congressman Doug Lamborn (CO-05). Space Foundation CEO Elliot Pulham led Lamborn on a guided tour of the El Pomar Space Gallery featuring the current exhibit, Launch to the Moon, which chronicles the 1959-1976 United States and Soviet Union space race.
Lamborn was also given a demonstration of Science On a Sphere® in the Space Foundation’s Northrop Grumman Science Center. Science On a Sphere is a unique spherical display that brings the Earth, Sun, Moon, planets and other celestial bodies to life and explains geography, weather, oceanography, the history of the universe, the impact of natural and manmade phenomena on our planet.
