Cartwright, Lord to participate at Strategic Space 2005
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Jun. 30, 2005) -- The Space Foundation announced today that Gen James E. Cartwright, USMC, Commander, United States Strategic Command, and Gen Lance W. Lord, USAF, Commander, Air Force Space Command, will be featured speakers at Strategic Space 2005. Presented by the Space Foundation and Space News, Strategic Space 2005 takes place 4-6 October at the Qwest Convention Center and Arena in Omaha, Neb. Lord will be the featured speaker Thursday, 6 October at 11:30 a.m., and Cartwright will deliver remarks at the closing dinner that evening. This year's event features an expanded program addressing the full spectrum of the Command's mission, with particular attention to the space-enabled support of operational commands.
